Scripture records, “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:31, NIV) Thus, in order to hear study God’s Word, various opportunities for Scripture and Bible study are provided. Scripture also records, “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17, NIV)
The Lord did not leave us in the dark, but provided His Word to enable us to believe and grow in the faith. His Word is straight forward. On Tuesday nights and on other occasions, Bible Study is provided so we may, “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18, NIV)
Catechetical instruction is provided for those who desire to become members of Trinity Lutheran Chapel and of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Instruction prepares an individual for the rite of confirmation.
